2013 Ti A Fi (Red Blend)

Varietal: 37% Syrah, 25% Tempranillo, 22% Grenache, 16% Sangiovese

Appellation: Paso Robles, CA

Vineyard: AmByth Estate, Templeton, CA. Dry Farmed Mark’s and Stonecross vineyards.

Cert and Farm: Biodynamic. Organic.

Aging Vessel and time: Italian Terracotta Clay Amphorae 12 months

Yeast, Sulfites, Additions: Native, None

Alc: 13.3%

Vinification: Grapes were harvested various times throughout september. They were then allowed to ferment independently whole cluster after foot stomping in puncheons and Amphorae through primary with native yeasts in a temperature controlled- room. They were then pressed and allowed a week or two to settle in stainless and amphorae. They were then lightly racked, blended and transferred to a single 800 Liter Italian Terracotta Clay Amphora. Aged twelve months then racked during a descending moon and then bottled the following descending moon. 18 month bottle time before release.
