Vinification: The best clusters were hand picked on a late September morning and then foot stomped in a 350 liter Italian Terracotta Amphora. A small amount of pressed juice was used to top off the vessel and then left to age on whole clusters for 12 months. Pressed and racked two times on descending moons within three months and then bottled. Ingredients: Biodynamic Grapes.

Tasting Notes: This is an amazing beautiful and unique wine for us. Deciding to keep on the skins for one year in Terracotta Amphora due to such a small crop has altered the texture and viscosity of this wine. The typical Mourvedre rustic and savory notes appear after the preliminary blast of dark berry fruit. Almost a tingle is left on the tongue, pairing perfectly for a meat stew or vegetable soup broth. -Gelert, Winemaker
